Classy Move at Wall Street Journal
I can't find a story to confirm this, but apparently yesterday was the first day the Wall Street Journal ran an actual picture - as opposed to the tiny-dot pictures they've done for years. The picture was of a bearded Daniel Pearl in 1994 playing guitar. It ran in black and white on the front of the Marketplace section along with a story about "At Home in the World," a collection of Pearl's writing.
Correction: The Pearl picture was not the first. But Monday's paper did carry the Journal's first color picture, according to the New York Observer. More info. --Amy 6/26
