Friends Don't Let Friends Blog Drunk

The details are very fuzzy, but basically several bloggers were sitting around last night and we came up with this funny idea about setting up a blog site that parodies the brilliant culinary show Iron Chef. We would choose a few Iron Bloggers (a la Iron Chef Japanese, Iron Chef French etc) and every week a challenger would get to choose an Iron Blogger to face off with on a topic selected by the mighty and powerful moderator, Chairman Blogga. Their screeds would vie for readers; tip jars or something like that could determine the winner. Running commentary from fortune tellers, giggly actresses and others would of course be required. Lots of side shows with blogger death matches, I don’t know, lots of kinks to work out, but we had loads of fun with it last night. In our trial run last night, Elizabeth was the challenger, and she got to choose from Iron Bloggers Jane Galt and Tim Blair and Asparagirl.

I’d try to remember more, but my brain is spongy and I have to catch an early train to Boston tomorrow.
