Can't recommend this enough. The Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress may be my new favorite building in the world.
It was closed to the public from 1985 to 1997 -- unless you were a researcher.
I took a free public tour yesterday, and I assure you my pictures don't do it justice. Will post more later, but have to fly back to NYC today.
