New York Dock buildings: new paint, and vacate
Way back in June Crain's and Brownstoner reported that Christie's auction house signed a deal for warehouse space in one of the New York Dock Co. buildings in Red Hook.
It now looks like they're doing paint tests on the buidling's exterior - different shades of grey and goldenrod maybe.
Also interesting is the big new VACATE notice posted Wednesday on the matching building next door. "The Department of Buildings has determined that conditions in these premises are imminently perilous to life. …"
